Highlights of what I cooked, baked, and ate (out) in February
Wow, so much cooking inspiration here! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks so much! Always happy to help inspire. :)
I've been looking for a soda bread recipe — I'll have to give these a try! Thank you for the roundup!
Np! :) The scones have a more cake-like texture than classic Irish soda bread (which was what I wanted). But if you’re looking for something more traditional, I also really like this recipe: https://food52.com/recipes/16529-peggy-s-authentic-irish-soda-bread-with-raisins?srsltid=AfmBOooJzOGmqG8C6f58SBrJtBMuU9-hT-7LDtirSJAPnQbL63R7lVbU
I grew up in New Jersey (just outside of Summit) and boy, do I miss the pizza!
My sisters-in-law live in New Providence and Livingston. Summit has some fun place to eat, but I’m in Bergen County, so don’t get down there as often as I’d like. Do you have a go-to pizza place that you’d recommend?
Capri pizza in Kenilworth…I could swear they use the same starter as from whenI was a kid
Ooh, I will have to try when I’m down there!
I can’t wait to try some of these recipes…you always share great ones just when I’m looking for something new!
Yay! There are definitely a few you would really enjoy on this list! :)
Amazing!! So many good dishes to try! Where do I start... Your recommendations always hit the mark, and I can't wait to try these out.
Thanks Shirley! :) You really can’t go wrong with any of them. Let me know if you do try one!
